Kate and Will, share some of the leading highlights of your day?
- Having all of our friends and family from around the world in one place at the same time.
- Our wedding ceremony was relaxed and fun, our celebrant, Monty King, was incredible and helped create an effortless day.
- Tearing up the dancefloor with our friends and family for hours on end.
What was significant about the venue, why did you choose the Hunter Valley, and in particular Peppers Creek?
W & K - We got engaged in the Hunter Valley and stumbled across the chapel while wine tasting the next day. We knew that was where we wanted to get married and where we wanted our friends and family from around the world to come and see. It means so much to us now; we travel up to the Hunter Valley regularly to get away from the city.
What made your day extra special?
W & K - We had been dating for 10 years, we're high school sweethearts, we’ve always been together, and people know us as a duo. It was special to have this one day that really recognised our journey and to have people from all walks of life there.
Did you include any meaningful traditions or rituals? Or how did you make your day uniquely you?
W - We didn’t have any rituals or traditions, but ever since we started dating Kate has always stolen the first sip (the neck) of every beer I seem to drink. During our vows, which neither of us had heard prior, I promised her ‘every neck of every beer’ & Kate promised to take ‘Every neck of every beer’.
