Spring Street Events

Location: Melbourne, VIC

With 8 venues to choose from, Spring Street Events have something for every type of wedding, from large to small and anything IN BETWEEN.

Siglo: Perched over Spring Street, overlooking the gothic spires of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the grandeur of Parliament House,  our rooftop terrace offers a view of Old World Melbourne rarely glimpsed.

Tea Room: Complete with dark wood paneling and impressive high ceilings, the Tea Room is reminiscent of a Victorian era Gentleman’s Club.  This versatile space caters to all types of receptions, allowing for a variety of room configurations, including cocktail events and intimate dining.

Melbourne Supper Club: Plush leather suites and shaded lamp lighting evokes a cool continental chic with beautiful city views through the circular bay window.

Spring Street Grocer Cheese Cellar: A specialist providore showcasing the freshest organic produce, comforting takeaway food, gelati and quality artisan cheese.
Our private underground dining room and cheese cellar is accessed by a spiral staircase.

French Saloon: Spanning the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, French Saloon borrows from the decadence and familiarity of the Parisian bar & bistro, while finding common ground with the enjoyment of raucous company and a sense of mischief.

Salon de Thè: Secluded from the more boisterous Saloon Bar next door, the Salon de Thè is a refined, handsome first floor private dining room. From a corner vantage overlooking Hardware Lane, long iron-framed windows flood the space with natural light. Weathered, original floorboards, elegant wall panelling and a
delicate, cut glass chandelier contrast against a magnificent timber table set with bentwood chairs.

Kirk’s Cellar: Just a step off Little Bourke Street, at the corner of Hardware Lane, you will find Kirk’s Cellar. Its facade of wavy white iron work, brightly coloured glass & timber bench seats  welcome you in off the busy footpath outside. Over the threshold, interiors of warm wood panelling and red leather barstools are the perfect spot to perch yourself for a quiet drink.

Recoleta: Beyond butcher and diner, a grand staircase leads to this beautiful first floor room reminiscent of the well heeled, leafy district of Buenos Aires, Recoleta.
Celebrating, excellent simple cooking in warm, inviting surroundings, this is a room to come together in, to gather for an impressive party, or to mark your next important milestone.
