Let's be honest, while we're all in isolation, the list of things 'to do' is slowly getting shorter and shorter. Now more than ever is the perfect time to build the vision of your dream wedding and start to gather ideas and inspiration.

We've created a list of 5 things to do together with your partner this Easter weekend while you're both at home, some fun, and some crucial.

1. Dance

Yes, that's right; put on your dancing shoes and dance the night away.

Tonight at 8pm AEST our friends and leading wedding DJ's One More Song are live streaming a wedding set that will undoubtedly inspire your wedding dance floor tunes.

Follow the link https://www.twitch.tv/virtualwedding and tune in at 8pm tonight, Saturday, April 11th and dance the night away.

2. Set up your Pinterest board

There's no time like now.

Finding and collecting wedding inspiration is a big task, we know. Still, it is crucial, especially now with the majority of wedding consultations taking place virtually. It is essential to have a clear idea of what you want and images that reflect this to pass onto your vendors.

Pinterest has always been our go-to platform for wedding inspiration, and you can easily create a board (or numerous based on category i.e. flowers, cake, etc.) and save all your favourite images to this.

Pinterest boards can also be set to private so that no one else sees them, but, you can also share them with your chosen vendors rather than sending multiple emails with images attached.

Need some inspiration? Here is our Pinterest account.

3. Find your wedding photographer

Yes, head to Instagram and find your wedding photographer.

There is no better time than now to snuggle cosily with your partner and scroll through the Instagram feeds of your favourite wedding photographers. Also, if you're interested in them, be sure to send out an enquiry this weekend. After numerous conversations with Mr Theodore wedding photographers, many are telling us that they are booking up really quick for the end of 2020 and even into 2021.

Need some ideas? Start with the Mr Theodore list of wedding photographers; these are certainly some of the best. View our wedding photographers.

4. Speaking of photographers, let's get onto videographers

Here's a hint, the videographer whose films make you cry the most indicates that they are probably the best for you.

Now, the best part of choosing your wedding videographer (and yes, we would label a videographer as a 'Must Have') is watching all their films for hours and hours on end.

Be prepared though; you'll need a box of tissues. There is just something so emotional about watching other peoples wedding films. Find your wedding videographer here.

5. Plan your honeymoon

Think outside the box.

Travel is of course off the cards for the foreseeable future, but why not start researching locations and accommodation that you usually wouldn't consider. Seek out boutique accommodation in your own state or regional areas, or exotic locations interstate. We'd advise against getting your heart set on international travel for at least the next 12-18 months; so there is no time like now to see what your state or region, as well as our incredible country, has to offer.
