What unique features or amenities does your wedding venue offer that set it apart from others in the area?
Stunning interiors. Our striking wedding venue boasts an industrial-chic aesthetic. From polished concrete floors, exposed concrete walls, and long dining tables to exquisite floor-to-ceiling glass, sparkling chandeliers, and charming archways, you won’t be starved for gorgeous wedding backdrops.
Can you describe the various spaces available for wedding ceremonies and receptions?
Our team provides the perfect, versatile space for an unforgettable bespoke wedding. Aunty Kim’s can accommodate up to 72 guests for a seated reception and up to 100 for an elegant cocktail-style affair. Couples can also separate the space with luxe velvet curtains. They can enjoy the entire venue or divide it into separate rooms for an extra touch of intimacy.
How do you ensure that couples feel supported throughout the planning process, from initial booking to the day of the event?
Our team is professional, warm and thoughtful. Our team strives to curate beautiful, one-of-a-kind, bespoke experiences for their couples. From the first time you walk through our doors to when your last guest leaves, you can rest assured knowing you and your wedding plans are in good, experienced hands.
What are some of the most memorable weddings or events that have taken place at your venue, and what made them stand out?
We’ve had many memorable events at Aunty Kim’s, however, we once had a wedding with Chinese dragon dancers that leapt around the venue. They were absolutely incredible, although they did break one of our chandeliers.
Could you share some insights or tips for couples who are considering your venue for their wedding day?
We would suggest couples make the most of our gorgeous floor-to-ceiling curtains. We once had a wedding reception where the evening started on one side of the room for canapes and cocktails, then our curtains unveiled an exquisitely set dining room on the other side for an intimate, sit down dinner.
And finally, what is your number one piece of wedding planning advice?
A wedding coordinator can make the world of a difference, in every area of the planning process - we would never suggest going without one!
